John Laesch ’08 Democrat for Congress:

John Laesch ran for the 14th congressional district seat in Illinois. The district covers a huge part of northern Illinois. It was represented by Republican Dennis Hastert, former Speaker of the House, since 1987. A special election was required to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the 110th United States Congress.

Situation:

Curtis was approached to create a website with a user-friendly content management system (CMS) for assigned campaign volunteers (non-technical) to update files, images and videos.

Solution:

Curtis created a dynamic website comparable to 2008 presidential candidates John Edwards and Hillary Clinton’s websites. Web features include a bilingual site, email captures, multimedia download, e-commerce “Contribute” page and most importantly, a self-maintain/update CMS guide for John’s staff.
